One of my Advertising classes

After class.......
I took this picture at the Go
Train after class. These are
2 of my classmates, Daria and
Egor, they were waiting on the
track across from mine. They
commute from Toronto everyday.
Here I am, this is in my Avertising
Layout class that we have on Thursdays. This is the class where we draw out our advertisments and this was the final class where we evaluated everyones work and the top ads were chosen. This is the class where all of my thumbnails and 2 other ads were from that you previously saw listed on my site.

This is Christina and Daria in my advertising layout class. Daria is the one who is already an artist, she has sold paintings to Celion Dion and sells her art work in magazines like Cosmopolitain, Lou Lou to name a few. So she always does amazing in this class, its right up her alley.
Some of my classmates looking at everyones work.

Bellow:
This is some of the ads all layed outon the table so you can see a few of them up close. Everyone did a really great job in designing their ads. I was really impressed!

This is how we divided up all of the advertisments into categories, such as conservative/ high end. middle of the road and provocative. My teacher although you can't see her has quite the career. The one part of her life that I hear a lot about as she just finished completing is that she is the creative force behind all of the Safeway advertisments. Heidi may be more aware of these..

But even when Kyle and I lived in B.C we always played the pull the tab game to win. So our teacher brought in so many trial posters of their ideas. They were featuring a trip to Austrlia, so some had a huge kangaroo, others played off lifesytles. But through out the entire semseter she would show us her creative teams progress and the Safeway stress in her life. But in the end they came up with a desgin that is now in Safeway stores everywhere. It only reminds me how much I miss shopping at Safeway. BUT this is just one example of how incredible my teachers are. They're hands are in everything many of us look at around the world.
