Favourite Moments

Our internet has been down so whenever I want to blog I have to write my entries in Word and when the internet is back up I will post them all. So here I am It’s Saturday morning and I have already watched 2 movies, “Vantage Point” and “Untraceable” It’s 10:15 am and I have moved on to watching “She’s All That” I have one of those heated bags filled with rice that you use to help an aching back and I have that behind my back and my laptop in front of me. I have been going to bed really late lately and getting up way too early.
I remember when Kyle and I first met and first were married I used to be in bed every night by 10pm, I would get up around 7am and watch Dawson’s Creek for an hour on Fox and then I would do my Jane Fonda workout, have a cup of Quaker’s Oatmeal and watch Tyra Banks and then I would wake Kyle up when Ellen came on around 11:00 am. That was the routine, now Kyle works every morning so we are both up early unless it’s the weekend like today then I still get up early but I try to let Kyle sleep in. When I think about our first 8 months of marriage I miss them so much.
Kyle and I had such a precious time together then mostly because we were broke and had to rely only on each other but life was so simple then. I worked full time at Chevron which was just enough to pay for rent and food, we never had any extra money to get gas or anything extra. It was the best time thought because even though Kyle wasn’t able to work and it made the money time we had so much time to spend together. I worked Thursday 2-midnight, Friday 10-8, Saturday 6-4 and Sunday 6-2 which was a lot of hours but other then Thursday and Friday I was able to get home at an early hour and the best part of it was I was able to be home Sunday at 2:00 pm then have all of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off. I just worked well because other then Thursday I had every night and afternoon with Kyle. We used to have so much fun.
Every Friday night we would eat out, I would get a fillet O fish from Mc Donald’s on Saturday at 4:00 we would go to Costco and have dinner and get some groceries and Sunday afternoon I would come home and relax and we would usually do something fun at night like to go IKEA or rent some movies. I love to think back on those times. They were so special because we were so far away from everything and completely on our own, we only had each other and that was all we needed. Now we are making new memories and new routines.
