What an exciting time. It began getting home from school on Friday and receiving a call from my cousin Blair who was in town all the way from Atlanta which was an awesome surprise. He wanted to go see a movie with Me, Steven, Jordan and Us. So Kyle and I were planning on going to the falls anyways on Friday because my parents are out of town ( teaching in B.C ) and my mom needed her heater core on in her car fixed, which is where Kyle comes in. He did this huge job for us on the Taurus when we had it. It’s a $1,000 job at Canadian Tire or anywhere you go but the part is only $200. It just requires many hours of work. The hold inside of the car has to come out.

So we packed all of our things and drove to Niagara and Friday night was a lot of fun. We went to see “Body of Lies” with Leonardo DiCaprio. It was a movie about terrorism and with those movies you have to accept that there is no resolution or ending. You have to take it like it is. So keeping all that in mind it was a good movie.

Body of Lies, based on the book of the same name by David Ignatius, is the latest Hollywood film to tackle the issue of terrorism and the Iraq war in the world today. But, while other films like In The Valley of Elah and Rendition failed both commercially and critically, Body of Lies seems posed to break the trend. The film certainly has all the pieces in place for greatness, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe starring, Ridley Scott directing, and William Monahan (Of The Departed fame) penning the screenplay. At the least, it will give DiCaprio another chance to win that elusive Oscar.
