It's Never Too Late To Change.

Sometimes I wish no one ever read what I wrote, that these words were invincible. It’s hard, I think I should just write in a journal but this website is my outlet, It’s where I come to let my voice explode, let my creativity loose and it’s a platform where my thoughts come to life.
So I already jotted some personal thoughts down in a journal. But this is what I have to say. It’s taken me years to figure this out but today I realized, it’s never too late. Those words hit me light a freight train today. And they kept on hitting me over and over again until I was saying it over and over and owning it, proclaiming it and now here I am to tell you about it.

It’s never too late to say you’re sorry. It’s never too late to leave all of the heartache that happened in the past behind and move forward. It’s never too late to remember your dreams, the big ones that God planted in your heart. It’s never too late to cry out for freedom and be free like you once were when you danced in wheat fields. It’s never too late to grasp on to the truth you let slip away. It’s never too late to fight back, to take a stand and claim your life again.
It’s never too late to turn around and start new. It’s never too late to have a vision from God that passes all understanding. It’s never too late to be close to God again, it’s never too late to see friends come to the Lord. It’s not too late to become a solider of God, to fight to regain each step that was taken from you. It’s not too late for me today to work out my relationship with God and dance and worship Him and live in freedom again. It’s not too late for me today to rekindle the vision God gave me to have a magazine speaking to every person on this earth about true freedom. It’s never too late to dream, to hope, to have new life.

It’s never too late to let go of the past and step towards the future. It’s never too late to change. It’s not too late for me to be the woman I was on my way to becoming in 1999. It’s not too late to become a soldier and fight for my freedom again. The word “defeat” will not control me anymore. Losing is not an option because to lose out on this is to accept a life filled with Misery, and that is simply not an option I am willing to consider. So from this day forward I am fighting for a new life, one that I let slip away and I am going to become a solider to do it because it’s never too late to change.

The important thing to remember is we can waste years away feeling too tired to try to change to be the person God destined us to be but it only takes one moment and change can happen, and when it does… watch out because it can happen when you least expect it, it can be so quiet you don’t even feel it and one day you wake up and you are a new person. You just never know when it might happen. Take the steps you know you need to take and wait for change to knock you off your feet, because it will.
It’s an exciting thought.... change. What’s really exciting is that it’s never too late for change to happen and it can start all over again if you want it to.
