Bright Future Ahead

Well I’m sitting here with my lap top, watching a recording of so you Think You can Dance. I just finished some amazing popcorn, It said it had expired but I actually think that made it taste better! Crazy – I know. I just finished reading my sisters blog and it’s crazy how hot it is in B.C right now. I am so thankful we live in a basement apartment, you come down the stairs and you can feel it getting cooler… Our apartment is so nice and cold during the summer. It’s so nice.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’m going to do when I graduate, Kyle and I were talking about it tonight and it seems like the best thing to do is to stay living where we are and I will hopefully be able to find a job in Toronto and commute to work so we can save money to buy a house someday in the near future!
I gave my notice at work on Tuesday, I felt really bad..When I was hired I said I would stay on in the fall but school is just too crazy to do that. I usually spend all the time when I’m not in school doing homework on the weekends and evenings so it just seemed like the best thing to do. We’re set without me having to work so I might as well take advantage of this time!
My last day of work is right before Kyle and I go away to Ottawa for our 4th Year anniversary. We have an amazing hotel booked and I am really starting to look forward to going. We haven’t gotten away together for a mindless vacation since we got married! And even then we didn’t have much of a honey moon and I was back working a week later.

It’s funny the gift you’re supposed to give for 4 years of marriage is flowers and fruit, I don’t know if that’s something I feel comfortable giving Kyle, I think I will have to think of something else or improvise!
It’s just crazy, summer is winding down already and it feels like it has just begun. I love the fall though and I can’t wait to be back in school and walking through leaves to the Go Train every morning. I’m so excited for what’s to come in the upcoming year..It’s my last year of school and I’m ready to live it up before I become a career woman!
