I just finished watching Oprah, she had major lottery and game show winners on talking about their win. I am feeling deprived right now! I could only imagine how incredible it would feel to have someone knock on your door with 1 million dollars! It would be unreal and life changing. I know what I would do if I won a million dollars. Here's a list in the order I would do it:
1. Give 10% to the church of course
2.Pay off debt ( which would only account for like $3,000 right now)
3. Pay off my parents debt, and give them an extra $50,000
4. Give my brother and sister and their families $50,000 each
5.Give all my extended family and friends free trips
6.Buy a house with a pool and spend money renovating and decorating it with new furniture and do dads. ( I would hit Pier One, Ikea, Pottery Barn, EQ3,Homesence, and BouClair.
7. Get one new car
8.Go on a shopping spree
9.Go on a vacation
10. Put money aside for the future ( possibly to start my own magazine)
So that's the problem with watching a show about winning the lottery, you dream of ways you would enjoy spending the money. The crazy thing is, I think a lot of those things Kyle and I will be able to do even if we don't win a million dollars. For instance or debt will be paid off very soon, and once that is done and I graduate we will start saving for our dream house and I although I have mini shopping sprees when I'm working I'm sure I'll be able to save for a big shopping spree and hopefully have enough for us to enjoy a vacation.
As far as helping out family members, hopefully one day we will make enough to maybe not do all that but do a little to help everyone out.
Well on a more realistic note, I'm looking forward to watching yesterdays Biggest Loser episode and the Hills. These shows are really heating up! I love seeing the success and amazing weight loss success stories on BL and the Hills is always a treat to watch every week.
Well I'm going to go call Kyle and see if I can't work my magic and get him to bring home something yummy for dinner tonight. I really don't feel like making anything!
