I have been sitting at the computer for days and hours on end working on making my portfolio better. I am not going to talk too much because I have been looking at a screen for way too long and the Academy Awards start in 25 minutes!
I have accomplished A LOT this week..and A LOT this weekend. I wasn’t able to get to the Falls because I needed to finish a lot of work if I want to get a career in Advertising when I finally graduate! I am feeling hopeful, but part of me feels like my ideas can’t come to life in the way that I hope because I am just not that strong in photo shop and in design. I don’t know what to do to make the ad leap off the page..its all about having the right design and layout and that’s what I’ve been trying to improve this week but it’s tough because I am trying to make every ad campaign have a different layout and It gets complicated!
I did find some time for fun this weekend. Kyle and I went Saturday afternoon to see Alice and Wonderland at the IMAX theater and we had tickets but there were only single seats left and no good ones so we got a refund and came back to see the 11:45 PM show. It was amazing! I think 3D is going to take over movies, not all movies but a lot of them because It’s just so fun and interesting to see.
Oh, one thing ..I don’t think I mentioned that I am excited about is Maple View mall in Burlington is opening up a ….DRUM ROLL….. EARLS! This is very exciting (as you can see) We have one not far, in Mississauga but this one will be so nice and close! I love the food there, and I can’t wait!

Well tomorrow I am back at school and I have to dress up so I’m going to wear the new outfit I got at Forever 21. I am SO not looking forward to school but the great news is it’s so close to over..the bad news is..it’s so close to being over!
I think I’m in freak out mode because I am so excited to be done and do everything I have learned which is a lot. I mean, I never thought in a million years I would graduate from college in something as cool as Advertising. I am also a nervous wreck because the industry is so cut throat and it’s hard to stand out or have that winning idea. I do feel more prepared after working so much this week on my portfolio pages, all I can do is give myself the best shot possible.
I am going to go unwind now for the rest of the night. I am not sure who is going to win best actress, the girl who plays Precious was incredible but I also love Sandra Bullock..There are so many greats so I can’t really draw any conclusions. I am excited though!
