Another day in Paradise

Beautiful Summer Day
It’s so nice out, there is an incredible early morning breeze filling the house which is so refreshing. This morning is one of my last driving lessons..I have my final one next Thursday on the day of my test. I hope it goes well, I need to finally get my license before I turn 30!
I think tonight we are going to the Falls to be part of the planning team at Mountain Park, and tomorrow I have my appointment with the neurologist. I only get to see him once or twice a year and it takes so long to book an appointment so today I need to figure out all of the questions I am going to ask so that I can take advantage of this appointment.
I have been feeling good the past 2 days, no pain my eye is a little sluggish but It’s not effecting my daily routine so that’s awesome. Kyle had some late night office work last night, I went to bed at midnight and he still wasn’t home, I missed him yesterday. I watched a couple of movies to keep me occupied. I watched the teen romantic movie “A Walk To Remember” and I don’t remember it being that good but I loved it..the story is so sweet..I cried and was totally into it. I spent some time yesterday doing up a resume to drop off at retail stores like Blockbuster too. It was funny, it took me way longer than my agency resumes because I didn’t know what to put on it. I had to get rid of all the Advertising stuff and put customer service attributes on it and re do my cover letter. It took some time but I think it’s good now. I need to work to help out on the home front and as much as I love being home, I can’t do that forever!
I have been doing well with my weight watcher points; I have been on target every day. I haven’t gotten out exercising just because of how I have been feeling lately but I am feeling more and more up to it so I should be able to get that back on track soon. It feels good to eat right and I know that progress is being made in the right direction even if the pounds aren’t dropping like crazy.

Thursday is Canada day, I can’t believe its July first already! I really wanted to go to Ottawa to celebrate but Kyle thinks it would be too busy to go down there so I’m not sure what our plans are, probably just hanging around town here. It will be nice to have Kyle home with me though; days off for him are awesome!
Well I’m going to go get ready, I have my practice driving session at 9:00 and I’m downloading the Bachelorette, Make it or Break It and The Secret Life of the American Teenager which were all on last night so I can watch them when I get the chance. I have to say, I love my shows! I don’t think I will ever get tired of getting cozy, curling up on the couch and watching the drama unfold!
