Best New Fall Shows

I always love fall for a lot of reasons, the change in the air and the anticipation of new beginnings. I love all of the family gatherings that follow like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Another great thing about fall are the new shows that emerge. I love to catch a glimpse and see which ones are standouts. This fall has added a few really great plots. I have chosen my top 3 can't miss shows which I make a point to watch every week.
I have to say if you have not seen Homeland on Showtime, Sundays at 10:00 Tune in this week, it's got that '24' feel, and waiting until next week to see what happens is painful!

Hart Of Dixie
Fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart has it all figured out - after graduating top of her class from medical school, she'll follow in her father's footsteps and become a cardio-thoracic surgeon. But when her dreams fall apart, Zoe decides to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his small practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Zoe arrives in this small Gulf Coast town only to find that Harley has passed away and left his half of the medical practice to her in his will.
Executive producer Josh Schwartz ("Gossip Girl," "Chuck," "The O.C.")

Homeland

Who's the hero – who's the threat? When MIA Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody returns home to a hero's welcome after eight years in enemy confinement, brilliant but volatile CIA agent Carrie Mathison isn't buying his story. She believes that Brody has been turned and is now working for Al Qaeda. What follows is a dangerous game of cat and mouse with nothing short of American national security at stake. Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patankin star in the provocative, suspenseful new Showtime Original Series HOMELAND, from Executive Producers of 24.

U
p All Night

"Up All Night," created by Emily Spivey (NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and "Saturday Night Live") and executive produced by Lorne Michaels (NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock"), is an irreverent look at modern parenthood. Christina Applegate ("Samantha Who?") stars as Reagan Brinkley: loving wife, successful career woman, life of the party and, most recently, mom. Determined not to compromise her career or cool reputation to the cliches of motherhood, Reagan adjusts to life with a baby and returns to work with the support of her stay-at-home husband, Chris (Will Arnett, "Arrested Development"). As Reagan and Chris figure out their new life, self-doubt, sleep deprivation and the pressure of today's parenting protocols rattle their confidence. What's more, the endless needs of Reagan's boss, ambitious but vulnerable talk-show host Ava (Maya Rudolph, "Saturday Night Live," "Bridesmaids"), threaten to throw Reagan off balance.

Hi Heather,

Are you going to be in Abbotsford? If so, let me know and we can drive in to see you. If you have time that is...I know how it goes.
