New Beginnings

SO Kyle is back, which is so amazing I can't even tell you! It's so great to have him around again. Its crazy how much you miss a person you love when they are gone. Life just isn't the same without there Hugs laughter and smile. ( And other things I can't mention!)

He brought me back this amazing necklace from one of the beaches. I think it was Santa Barbra but I can't quite remember. He is pretty exhausted as he worked more hours out in LA then he does in Toronto, Which is a lot considering he is gone so early in the morning everyday and doesn't get home until around 7.00 in the evening. So he is taking today off and doing work from home to regroup and get some rest before tomorrow.

He was so funny last night, we went out to pick up some chicken to have for dinner and he was saying "Why is it so quiet?" and " I love my car" ( He was driving this rental which didn't come close to the Lexus) And he couldn't get over the roads, He said everyone in LA had at least one dent on their car. He was just overwhelmed with how much space there was being back at home.

I was asking him if this meant he wouldn't want to move there one day but He still liked it enough to maybe move, so we'll see what happens down the road.

We have a good couple of years until we make that choice. I will be done my second year by next summer , which is so hard to believe, I feel like time just passes so quickly. But there is still a lot of time to think about where we want to settle down and live for awhile once I graduate.

One thing is for sure, the next time Kyle goes away on Business I am going to tag along so I can see all the sights and check out some houses and prices to get a feel for the area.

Today I am going to be brainstorming on some new ad's we have to come up with. We have a new Business Creative Pitch for a local mall in Oakville and we have to develop 3 ads for the mall one for the mall itself, one for a particular store in the mall and a sale and one for a back to school ad. Then we have another assignment which will be fun, because its for the Canon S3 camera. And for this one we have to come up with ideas and do a postcard, direct mail ad, and then 2 different ads targeted towards vacationers and students who are in the design and arts field.

So that is what I am going to go start thinking about and get some roughs done in pencil.

Kyle and I will probably go out today and do something too, And I will be showing some pictures of his time in LA when he gets them ready for me so check back for that. I know I am so excited to see them myself, but he left me with the good camera and he only used his cell phone cam so we'll see how good they come out.

Okay time to get my brainstorming on!
