Wow. I finally have a minute to sit here and talk. It's been an incredibly busy week mostly with working on my portfolio. I really wanted to get some ideas down so that I had a good launching pad to work from this year. It will be my last year and at the end I will need to get placed in an internship and I have to have all my T's crossed and everything ready so that when I'm swamped in assignments I have something somewhat already done.
To catch up, I spent the weekend at the Falls and my mom and I had a fun filled cottage cheese perogie making fest on Saturday, we made enough batches for me to have 2 meals at home this week and of course we had it for dinner on Saturday night. We were talking and I think we're going to make a couple of batches of Lasagna next Saturday. We also went to see "All About Steve" which was another great movie from Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper is awesome, I always loved him as the reporter in the show " Alias". So I've got some back to school clothes, a couple new binders...my GO train pass and a new purse for all my books so I think I'm ready for school on Tuesday. It's going to be a lot of fun, I want my last year to be a memorable one because I don't ever plan on going back! It's time now to dream about what's going to happen after school is over. Finding a career in the city, saving money for a house..enough to start a family, remodel a fixer upper with a pool and settle down someplace nice.
Oh yeah and if your wondering why this post is titled " Here goes the neighborhood" It's because I feel like the calm relaxing fun summer is over and it's back to early mornings and busy school hallways, cafeteria food and late night study sessions. Just a few things I'm thinking about. Included are some pictures of our perogie making fun!
