We were also feeling like we needed to keep the party started so we decided to play a new edition "Scene It" game that we found randomly at Chapters earlier in the week. It usually costs $50 bucks but we got it for less then $20, it was really on sale. These Scene it movie addition games are hard to come by, usually the ones you see in stores have weird themes like Star Wars, it's hard to find the ones that are just about movies, so anyways we had a lot of fun playing that.
It's funny Kyle couldn't guess one of the obvious trivia questions that had a clue about "How do you solve a problem like Maria" I was dieing inside! So easy! Our Sound of Music DVD was in plain sight too...I had to give him a lot of hints. I am not that good either, there are lots of old movies I have never seen, I'm not the biggest movie buff at all..
So we were feeling game happy and Kyle had brought home some games from Spin Master and they now make the Headbands game where you are a person, place or thing and you can't tell what it is and you have to ask questions to figure it out. Well we decided to play that and it was a lot of fun..Once again it took Kyle a long time to catch on! I think he was trying to think too much into it..he didn't get the hang of asking the big questions like "am I a person" until a couple of rounds in.
It was a really fun night. It was good to stay in. We were going to go to the Falls this weekend to help out with singing on Sunday but I started feeling a lot of pain on practice night and we couldn't make it and I needed to stay home and feel better. I am feeling a lot better today, It's been a really hard week for me but today is the first day I feel okay. I think we're going to stay home the rest of the weekend to just get back on track...spend time together and get some rest.
