Get On Board the Happy Train!

Wow..Okay before I put my head phones in I think I am hearing some people having sex either on the balcony above me or hmmm..inside next door ?! I don’t know but this is a lot to take in Saturday morning!Oh..Toronto..always keeping it intresting.

Okay so music time. Third Eye Blind it is and Yes the Blue album which I totally love. Okay moving on, yesterday was a total blast. So I spent the night at Andrea’s place in Burlington, Dan was working the night shift being the hero fire fighter that he is and Andrea and I watched the movie “The River Wild” on NetFlix which totally rocked and by the way NetFlix is becoming so unbelievably great. Last night I fell asleep to the movie “Fear” with Reece Whitherspoon and Mark Walberg. It’s got some X rated roller coaster scenes in there that I am sure are every parent’s nightmare making them think twice about allowing their sweet daughters to go to amusement parks with boys but other than that this movie one to watch.

Okay but back to my day before falling asleep while watching the movie which isn’t to say this movie is boring…I just had too many beers and couldn’t keep my eyes open!

So..back to Andrea’s..I woke up early in the morning to the shrieking voice of son Nate and his buddy who I have to say were so cute. Before heading to bed the night before Andrea brought me in to Nate’s rooms to see both buddies sleeping next to each other …totally knocked out, totally adorable. totally priceless.

Now even more Priceless was Ava’s Room which I was privileged enough to sleep in. It was PINK, and when I say Pink…I mean PINK! That is no exaggeration! It was the most girly room I have ever been in but I have to say one of the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever enjoyed.

So I woke up early to Nate and his buddies tantalizing screams and attempted to get ready, the night before I had realized I left everything I needed at home, my copaxone and forgeto catch the one at the exhibition but missed that too due to construction and ended up waiting for an hour for the train to arrive. Anyway so back to getting ready in the A.M. I had a little mirror and concealer in my purse which I used to blot the tired eyes away and went down to greet Dan now home from his firefighting shift and Andrea. Andrea was already dressed in her workout attire and lent me some of hers and the two of us went for a run/walk with the dog Teddy who was a great excuse to take a couple of breaks, that and all of the neighbourhood friends Andrea has who we stopped to talk to. The area we ran through was beautiful; there are some great trails behind the houses there.

Anyway, D & A had plans to pick up Ava at camp (which is why I was privileged to sleep in the pink room the night before) So after stopping by at Starbucks and getting the kids this green chunky juice and banana bread and us our adult drinks I was on the train back to Toronto.

Now waiting for a train you get to know people, well that is if you’re like me and butt into conversations and ask questions. I’m not sure what this group was talking about but somehow I opened my big mouth and found out the expecting couple was from Florida and their Dad was from Buffalo and lived really close to Walden Galleria in Buffalo where of course we frequently shop. Long story short we rode the hour long train together, I walked them out to Front Street, showed them where the Hockey Hall of Fame was (They were huge hockey fans) …told them where to eat great pasta at the Old Spaghetti factory and exchanged numbers. If you scroll down on my Blackberry you will now see..” Tampa Florida Kelly”…She informed me later on that they found a great place to eat and were having a wonderful time. So that was a really nice meet and greet. I love meeting new people!

Speaking of new people those were not the only ones I met on the train yesterday morning. I was sitting across from these older Sex and the City like goddess’s who were talking about what movie to see, I heard them talking about Larry Crowne and told them it was excellent and asked what their plans were for the day. They said they were shopping and I mentioned the Eaton Center and got some ghastly disapproving looks as I was told Bloor Street would be where all the shopping excitement would happen. Duh, I mean these ladies were dressed to the nine! Only shops like Holt Renfrew would do for these sheik lady friends who were visiting their Burlington friend from all over the world. These ladies seriously made my day and I hope I can rock a wardrobe and hip attitude like them when I am that age.

Later on I had a couple of popsicles waited for Kyle to come home, had an individual veggie pizza hut pizza with bone out wings and Kyle’s friend Louis came by..we hung out on the patio, had some drinks they smoke some cigars and I went to bed…they went out right after and I haven’t talked to Kyle since, not sure where they ended up but I am sure I will soon find out.(Found out, they went and got some pizza at Pizza Pizza)

Okay moving backwards one day.. I went to see the screener “Horrible Bosses” with Lisa and I was actually called down from the sold out show to announce it with another special selected one anyway in the end I was given this cool branded horrible gift bag including:

1. Horrible Boss Tee-shirt* Beach Ball *Shot Glass & Note Book

All in all it was a great night and Lisa has informed me that she is trying to get tix for final Harry Potter Screener so I need to watch all the old ones to prepare so I will attempt to try to do that, earlier this year my mom and I finished about 3 or 4 , not sure but anyway I know I have a couple to catch up on.

So It’s another GLORIOUS Saturday and cheers to that, this weekend is going to be awesome and what makes it even more AWESOMER is yes…U2 ON Monday! Wow, what a great end to a weekend, I am getting to excited for this, so pumped, so ready! So I am looking forward to a nice relaxing day today, not sure what’s in store as I never am living in this great city but I know tomorrow will be stellar as I get to see mom who I haven’t seen in a couple of weeks and hear my dad’s no holds barred knock ‘em out sermons!

I am feeling So Happy..I know. Broken record. No one likes these people who are always so josh darn happy, they start to get annoying! But seriously, you are going to have to deal with it because I don’t plan on getting off this Happy Train ANYTIME SOON! Whhhhooott Whhhooooot < This is me tooting my happy train horn…Who is going to join me and GET ON BOARD the HAPPY TRAIN!!
