Hectic Life be Gone!

It's sometimes hard to prioritize time, there never seems to be enough! I know lately the biggest thing on my mind are thinking through ways to fit everything in and still make time to relax and get enough rest.

I am excited to go to Niagara tonight after work and spend time on Saturday doing some Christmas baking with my mom, if it wasn't for my ever changing work schedule I would really be excited but it's challenging to do everything I want (including baking!) and still find time to relax with no agenda.

I don't want to complain though, because finally I am getting regular steady hours at work which really helps financially but the one and only draw back is that my days off are always scattered and unpredictable so when a day off comes it's usually spent doing everything i didn't have time to do while working. I know...we can all relate to this, who actually gets time for themselves anymore?! Shocker! I am definitely not the only one with this problem.

Right now I have plans to set up our Christmas Tree on my day off next week, and I really hope nothing else comes up so I can do that and I have a bunch more Doctors appointments coming up BUT (And i say this WAY too much) I AM going to SLOW DOWN and really enjoy this Christmas Season! I am always thinking this and I really don't know how to stop and enjoy it but I think it's going to start with putting up the tree and doing some baking tomorrow. Other ways I can enjoy this time is putting on Christmas music, taking some time each day to sit by the tree and journal, maybe get some hot coco and take time to sip it at night..Honestly I have no idea ..if you have any ideas on how to take in the season and really squeeze as much out of it as possible, let me know!

I just hate how time goes by..it's the end of the year and this to me is the best time..I sometimes feel January to be daunting..a whole year ahead. I like this time! I just want to take it all in and not miss a thing!

Im going to be thinking of other ways to really enjoy the season while I'm at work today but now it's time to go back to bed! It's 3AM and this bathroom break is over : )

Heather the way to enjoy Christmas the most is not to get caught up in all the frills but to focus on our Lord and Savior and His miraculous birth
